Savory filled puff pastry with chicken

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 chicken breasts or turkey breast
  • lots of fresh basil
  • 2 slices of Gouda
  • 1 ball(s) of mozzarella
  • ½ bag of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • some cherry tomatoes
  • 1 package of Parma ham or Black Forest ham
  • 1 package of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

very, very tasty and very quick to prepare

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll out the puff pastry. Cut all the remaining ingredients into small pieces. Season the meat with pepper, salt, and paprika, then sear it. Spread everything on the puff pastry and fold it into a pastry parcel. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. I sometimes use reduced-fat puff pastry, which works just as well. This recipe can be varied with many other ingredients as desired. The parcels are also delicious cold.
