Chicken Satay
The perfect chicken satay recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the marinade:
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter
- 50 ml Olive oil
- Juice of 1/2 itrone
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 small Red chilli pepper, alternatively chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- For the marinade, stir or mix the olive oil with lemon juice, honey, sesame seeds and the chilli pepper cut into small cubes.
- Cut the chicken breast fillet into thin slices and place on a skewer. Brush the skewers with the marinade and leave to stand in a cool place for about 1 hour.
- Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the skewers in it for about 3 minutes on each side.
- Tastes good as finger food or with soups.
- Tip 5: Put the wooden skewers in cold water about 1 hour before use.
