Chicken Satay

The perfect chicken satay recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the marinade:

  • 1 tbsp Clarified butter
  • 50 ml Olive oil
  • Juice of 1/2 itrone
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 small Red chilli pepper, alternatively chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  1. For the marinade, stir or mix the olive oil with lemon juice, honey, sesame seeds and the chilli pepper cut into small cubes.
  2. Cut the chicken breast fillet into thin slices and place on a skewer. Brush the skewers with the marinade and leave to stand in a cool place for about 1 hour.
  3. Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the skewers in it for about 3 minutes on each side.
  4. Tastes good as finger food or with soups.
  5. Tip 5: Put the wooden skewers in cold water about 1 hour before use.
