Chicken wings with rice

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg chicken wings, plain or seasoned
  • 3 onions
  • 250 g rice, dry
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 liter of water
  • n. B. Stock cubes for 1 l stock
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Boil the chicken wings in plenty of water for about 20 minutes. Then remove the meat from the bones. Sauté the meat and onions in butter. Reserve 1 liter of the cooking water. Add the stock cubes. Pour the stock into the meat and onions. Add the rice and cook for about 20 minutes, until the meat is tender and the stock has reduced significantly. Season to taste.
