Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g rice (brown rice, basmati)
  • 1 large onion(s) or spring onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 2 peppers
  • 500 g minced poultry
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 tsp vegetable stock powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Simple and fast

Cook the rice with a little salt according to the package instructions. In the meantime, finely chop the onion and fry it in a large pan (with a little oil if necessary) until translucent, then add the minced chicken. Season the mince generously with salt, pepper, and paprika. Press the garlic clove, add it to the mince, and continue frying. Finely chop the bell pepper, mushrooms, and zucchini and add it to the mince. Add about 200 ml of water and 1 teaspoon of vegetable stock to the pan and continue simmering over medium heat. Once the vegetables are tender enough to bite, add the cooked rice, mix, and serve. Adjust the seasoning if desired.
