Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 can chickpeas, approx. 400 g
- 50 g Parmesan
- 1 tbsp, heaped cream cheese
- 2 small eggs
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- salt and pepper
- 1 can tomatoes, chopped, approx. 400 g
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- a few stalks of basil
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
For the cheese patties, drain the chickpeas in a sieve and then mash them with a fork. Add the remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Form approximately 6 large patties and fry them in a pan with a little oil on both sides. If you like, you can roll them in oatmeal first. For the sauce, combine the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, finely chopped basil, sugar, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Arrange the patties on plates and serve with the sauce.
