Chickpeas Patties

The perfect chickpeas patties recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Diced onion
  • 20 g Mild coconut fat
  • 250 g Chickpea flour
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable salt
  • 1 tbsp Pepper from the grinder
  • Ground garlic
  • In the mortar
  • 0,25 liter Water
  • Coconut oil to fry
  1. Brown the diced onion in the coconut oil and let it cool.
  2. Put the chickpea flour in a bowl, add the vegetable salt, pepper, ground garlic and mix all the dry ingredients together and then add enough water until it is a smooth dough and can be stirred well.
  3. Let the whole thing rest for a while, about 15 minutes.
  4. Now use a spoon to pour the dough into the hot coconut oil and fry on both sides.
