Chicoree with Mozzarella
The perfect chicoree with mozzarella recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Chicory
- 2 pck Buffalo mozzarella
- 1 Orange
- 2 el Olive oil
- 1 el Balsamic vinegar
spices
- 1 el Honey
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 0,5 tl Mild chilli powder
- 0,5 tl Rosemary
- First I halved the chicoree and removed the bitter middle stalk. Then I seared the chicoree in olive oil in a pan. I peeled the oranges and cut out the fillets..collected the juice..above some orange peel …
- I added half of the orange juice, the vinegar and all the spices to the chicory .. I had everything reduced a bit .. then I put everything in a fireproof dish .. now the buffalo mozzarella was cut into slices and placed on the chicoree .. as well as orange peel .. I preheated the oven to 200 degrees .. put the mold in it and baked everything-about 20 minutes .. plus there was white bread and red wine ..
