Chili Brussels sprouts with garlic

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts
  • 2 chili peppers, red
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Clean the Brussels sprouts and make a cross-shaped incision in the stem. Cook the sprouts in salted water with a pinch of sugar for about 15 minutes until al dente, then drain. Halve the peppers, remove the seeds, and slice crosswise into thin strips. Thinly slice the garlic cloves. Heat butter in a pan. Sauté the sprouts, chili, and garlic for about 1-2 minutes. Season with salt.
