Chili Cheese Sauce for Burgers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 jalapeños
  • 2 chili peppers, without seeds
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 150 g processed cheese
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 200 ml cream
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 20 dashes of smoke flavor
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely dice the bell peppers, garlic, chilies, and jalapenos. Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Then let cool. If you like it spicier, you can also add the chopped chili seeds and cook with the sauce. This sauce tastes simply amazing with hamburgers.
