Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 500 g minced beef or half and half
  • ½ liter of beer (Kölsch, Alt or Pils)
  • 2 can/n tomatoes, pizza tomatoes (400 g)
  • 2 cans of beans, pinto beans in chili sauce (425 g)
  • 1 can corn (300 g)
  • Chili pepper(s) or chili powder, to taste
  • Garlic clove(s), to taste
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dice the onions and sauté in olive oil until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Chop the chili peppers and add them. Deglaze with the beer and cook until the alcohol has evaporated. Then add the tomatoes and finely chopped garlic and cook until creamy. Then add the corn and beans, heat through, season with salt and pepper, and you’re done! Serve with rice or baguette.
