Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g minced meat, mixed
  • 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 cans of tomatoes
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 can of corn
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • Chili pepper(s) (dried)
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Tomato paste
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the ground beef in olive oil until cooked through. Dice the onions, garlic, and bell peppers and add them. Add the canned tomatoes and, if desired, a little water and tomato paste, season, and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain the corn, rinse the kidney beans, and drain well. Add the beans and corn, and simmer for 1 hour over low heat, stirring occasionally. Season to taste; everyone tolerates a different level of heat! Baguette is best served with this dish.
