Chilli Buns
The perfect chilli buns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour
- 1 packet Yeast
- 250 ml Milk and water mixed lukewarm
- 3 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3 tablespoon Herbs of Provence
- 1 tablespoon Chilli pods, dried
- 2 tablespoon Natural yoghurt
- Mix the yeast with the lukewarm liquid and let stand briefly
- Mix the flour with salt, oil, herbs and chilli, add the yeast mixture and knead vigorously. If necessary, add a little flour until the dough no longer sticks.
- Let the dough rise for 30 minutes until it has visibly risen.
- Knead again vigorously.
- For easy processing, halve the dough and shape one half into a long roll and divide it into 25 small pieces, then roll them into small balls.
- Place on a baking sheet and let rise for another 10 minutes. Then brush the balls with yogurt.
- Bake on the middle rack at 180 ° C for approx. 20 minutes, until the balls are light brown.
