Chilli Meringue

The perfect chilli meringue recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Makes approx. 90 – 100 pieces
  • 4 Egg white / here: rest of the tasty shortbread biscuits
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa
  • 2 tsp Chilli flakes
  • Parchment paper
  1. Beat egg whites (4 pieces) with a pinch of salt. Mix sugar (200 g) with vanilla sugar (1 packet), cinnamon powder (1 teaspoon), cocoa (2 teaspoons) and chilli flakes (2 teaspoons) and gradually fold into the egg whites. With a small spoon, place a pile on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (makes 2 baking sheets) and bake / solidify / dry the two baking sheets in the preheated oven at 100 ° C for about 1 hour
