Chimichurri Sauce
The perfect chimichurri sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 90 ml Olive oil
- 30 ml Red wine vinegar or white balsamic vinegar
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic clove or more for intense flavor
- 2 bunch Parsley
- Chilli flakes
- Salt pepper
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 0,5 Lime
- Finely chop the parsley, garlic and onion.
- Add vinegar, olive oil and the juice of one lime and mix well.
- Now add the spices salt, pepper, thyme, oregano and chilli.
- If you like, you can add a small chopped chilli pepper to give it a kick of fresh spiciness.
- Let the sauce soak in the fridge for a while.
- Before serving, take it out of the refrigerator half an hour in advance so that it unfolds its full aroma.
