Lamb's lettuce with apples

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g lamb’s lettuce
  • 4 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
  • 2 tsp beet syrup
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 small apple

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Clean, wash, and spin dry the lamb’s lettuce. Roast the sunflower seeds in a dry pan. Mix the vinegar, syrup, salt, pepper, 3 tablespoons of water, and oil well. Wash, quarter, and core the apple. Cut lengthwise into very thin slices and immediately toss with the vinaigrette. Arrange the lamb’s lettuce with the apples and vinaigrette, sprinkle with the seeds, and serve immediately. Also delicious as an appetizer.
