Chinese chicken pot

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 spring onions
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pepper
  • Spice mix, Chinese
  • 2 cubes of stock
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 pinch of sambal oelek
  • 1 small jar of soy sprouts
  • ½ bell pepper(s)
  • 2 carrots
  • 150 g cooked ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rinse the chicken breast in cold water and cut into thin strips. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and sear the meat until crispy. Peel and roughly dice the onion. Peel and press the garlic. Peel the spring onions and slice into rings. Add everything to the seared meat and fry. Season to taste. Drain the bean sprouts and add them. Wash and dice the bell pepper and carrots, and add them. Finally, dice the ham and add it too. Cook everything for about 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly. Season to taste if desired. Rice is a delicious side dish.
