Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg pork (neck or shoulder)
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp jam (cherry or strawberry)
- some lemon juice
- 1 can pineapple pieces
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes
Marinate the chopped meat in the spices and let it rest for 3 to 4 hours. Then deep-fry twice in a row. Combine the first 5 sauce ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil briefly, then add the pineapple. Finally, add the deep-fried meat. Serve with rice, of course.
