Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ cup oil
  • 300 g cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cup(s) Flour (Almidon – Cassava flour)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

simple, quick-to-make chipas

Whisk the egg, oil, cheese, and milk in a blender until smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl, then add the dry ingredients and mix with a large spoon. Then pour the batter into small muffin cups and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 250°C for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Chipas are popular with terere (breakfast) here in Paraguay. They taste best served lukewarm.
