Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g chocolate coating
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 175 g almonds, chopped
  • 75 g raisins
  • 300 g flour (depending on the size of the eggs)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Chop the chocolate coating. Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Stir in the almonds, chocolate coating, and raisins. First fold in the flour and baking powder, then knead until the dough is not too sticky. Form the dough into 4 logs, approximately 3.5 cm in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 30 minutes at 200°C (top/bottom heat). For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and rum together and spread it on the still-warm chocolate breads. Once cooled, cut each into approximately 15 slices and store in a tin.
