Chocolate apple cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 apples
  • some lemon juice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 50 ml oil
  • 125 g yogurt
  • 200 g flour
  • 35 g cocoa powder
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • some powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel and core the apples. Cut 1 apple into thin slices. Dice the other two. Drizzle the apples with lemon juice. Beat the eggs and brown sugar in a bowl. Stir in the oil and yogurt. Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder over the apples and stir in. Fold the diced apples into the batter. Line a 24 cm springform pan with baking paper and pour in the batter. Press the apple slices lightly into the batter along the edge of the pan. Bake the cake in a preheated oven to 180°C for 35-40 minutes. Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar and serve.
