delicious and Christmassy cookie recipe, makes about 40 cookies

Makes approximately 40 cookies. First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) and prepare a baking sheet lined with baking paper. For the dough, first grate the chocolate. Then, in a large bowl, combine the flour, nuts, grated chocolate, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Then, add the room-temperature butter and egg and knead everything together, either with the dough hook of a hand mixer or by hand. Once you have a smooth dough, cover and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Next, on a floured surface, shape the dough into several finger-thick logs. Cut the logs into 3-4 cm long pieces and carefully flatten them slightly with your fingers to form them into shapes. Since the dough will still rise, arrange the finished logs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving enough space between them. Bake the cookies in the oven for 18 minutes, then let them cool. In the meantime, melt the chocolate coating. Once the bars have cooled, dip both sides into the melted chocolate coating and decorate with baking decorations as desired. Allow the chocolate coating to harden.
