  • 150 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 30 g Cocoa
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Baking soda
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 4 tablespoon Milk
  • 40 g Chocolate sprinkles
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped nuts

  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° C O / U heat. Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  • First put the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Then add the eggs, milk and butter and mix into a smooth batter. Finally stir in the chocolate sprinkles and chopped nuts.
  • Put the dough in a loaf pan and smooth it out. Put the cake in the preheated oven and bake for about 55 minutes. After about 15 minutes of baking, cut the cake lengthways in the middle about 1 cm deep with a sharp knife. Then finish baking for the remaining 35-40 minutes.
  • Let the freshly baked cake cool for a few minutes. Remove from the tin and turn onto a wire rack.
  • If you like, you can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar or cover it with a chocolate icing. To do this, melt 100 g chocolate in a water bath and pour over the cold cake.
