Ingredients for 70 servings:
- 200 g flour (wheat flour)
- 3 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 150 g sugar, brown
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 150 g margarine or butter
- 2 eggs
- 100 g hazelnuts, chopped
- Chocolate decoration (drops)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Place the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, vanilla sugar, margarine, and eggs in a mixing bowl and knead into a smooth dough for 2 minutes. Briefly stir in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips. Use 2 teaspoons to place walnut-sized heaps at 4cm intervals (they will spread during baking) on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Baking: Top/bottom heat at about 200°C (preheated), fan oven at about 180°C (preheated), gas mark 4 (preheated). Baking time: about 12 minutes. Remove the cookies from the tray using the baking paper and allow to cool.
