Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
The perfect chocolate crinkle cookies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Flour
- 1 tbsp Cocoa
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 60 g Sugar
- 2 Pc. Egg
- 1 Pc. Egg yolk
- 30 g Butter
- 100 g Dark couverture
- 60 g Powdered sugar
- Chop the couverture, melt it with the butter and let it cool down a little.
- Beat the sugar, egg and egg yolk until frothy and stir in the melted couverture / butter. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and mix everything into an even dough.
- Now cool the mass in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until it is so firm that you can form balls out of it.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls (if the oven is not yet hot, put the balls in the fridge again). Roll half of the cold balls generously in powdered sugar (works a lot, but this is the only way to create the beautiful snow effect) and place with the powdered sugar upwards at a distance of 3 cm on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake at 180 ° C for about 13 minutes.
