  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 2 Pc. Egg
  • 1 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 100 g Dark couverture
  • 60 g Powdered sugar
  1. Chop the couverture, melt it with the butter and let it cool down a little.
  2. Beat the sugar, egg and egg yolk until frothy and stir in the melted couverture / butter. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and mix everything into an even dough.
  3. Now cool the mass in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until it is so firm that you can form balls out of it.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls (if the oven is not yet hot, put the balls in the fridge again). Roll half of the cold balls generously in powdered sugar (works a lot, but this is the only way to create the beautiful snow effect) and place with the powdered sugar upwards at a distance of 3 cm on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
