Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 tbsp Milk

For the topping:

  • 150 g Butter
  • 200 g Powdered sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 350 g Cream cheese
  • 350 g Cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection). Place the muffin cups on a baking sheet with enough space between them. For the dough: Beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in eggs. Mix flour, salt and baking powder and stir into the batter. Add milk and stir until smooth on the highest setting. Fill the dough into molds and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes and then let cool down well. For the cream: Beat the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in the cream cheese and chill briefly. Mix the cocoa powder with the cream and place in a piping bag with a star nozzle and decorate the muffins with it. If you don't have a piping bag on hand, it also works great with a freezer bag. Simply cut off a corner and pour in the cream. Then the cupcakes can be decorated as you like. I chose chocolate sprinkles. Have fun and enjoy it!
