Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 450 g flour
- 1 baking powder
- 200 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 50 g butter
- 6 tbsp milk
- 6 tbsp honey
- 500 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 6 tbsp milk
- 500 g desiccated coconut
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Make a batter from flour, baking powder, sugar, eggs, butter, milk, and honey. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 175°C for approximately 15-20 minutes. Let cool slightly, then cut into 3cm wide and 5cm long rectangles. Cook the butter, sugar, cocoa, and milk until thick. Dip the rectangles into the warm mixture with a fork and then roll them in the coconut flakes. Store in the refrigerator and eat cold.
