Chocolate Mousse with Bamberg Smoked Beer

The perfect chocolate mousse with bamberg smoked beer recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 ml Schlenkerla smoked beer
  • 2 packet Ground gelatin
  • 400 ml Whipped cream
  • 3 Pc. Protein
  • 3 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 200 g Chocolate
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 50 g Butter
  1. Beat 1,400 ml of whipped cream until stiff. Beat egg yolks with sugar until creamy. Beat egg whites until stiff. Melt the chocolate together with butter in a double boiler. Fold everything in together.
  2. Mix the smoked beer with 2 packets of gelatine (foams). When the beer has a creamy consistency, slowly fold into the mousse.
  3. Put it in the fridge. Let it steep for a couple of hours. And enjoy.
