Ingredients
- 250 g Butter
- 45 g Baking sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 0,5 Lemon peel
- 5 Eggs
- 180 g Granulated sugar
- 250 g Flour smooth
- 80 g Chopped chocolate into small cubes
- 80 g Chopped nuts
- Butter and sliced almonds for the pan
Instructions
- Beat the butter with the baking and vanilla sugar and the grated lemon zest until foamy, then gradually stir in the yolks. Beat the egg whites with granulated sugar to a smeary snow and fold in. Now stir in the flour and finally the chocolate and nuts. Grease the bundt pan well with butter and sprinkle with sliced almonds, carefully pour in the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for about 1 hour. Cover the finished and overcooled Gugelhupf with caster sugar.
