Chocolate pudding (not from a bag)

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 70 g chocolate, dark or milk chocolate
  • 750 ml milk
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • possibly brittle crumble

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Crumble the chocolate and melt it in 700 ml of milk over medium heat. Sprinkle in the sugar and cocoa powder and bring everything to a boil. Mix the cornstarch with 50 ml of milk and a pinch of salt and stir it into the pudding. Simmer for 1 minute and immediately remove the pan from the heat. Transfer the pudding to molds or bowls and let it cool. If you like, you can whip 200 g of cream with 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar until stiff. Transfer the pudding to molds or bowls and let it cool. A small dollop of whipped cream, garnished with praline crumbles, completes the whole thing. At least then you know what’s in the pudding. It’s simply delicious and not too sweet.
