with the ingredients from the children’s and Christmas song by Ralf Zuckowski, also vegan possible
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Grate the chocolate; dark chocolate is particularly good for this. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl using the dough hook of a hand mixer. The order doesn’t really matter, but I always start with the wet ingredients. The dough doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Flour the work surface and roll out the dough. The dough will stay quite thick because of the candied lemon peel (candied lemon peel). Cut out shapes using any cookie cutters and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or a baking mat. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 15 to 20 minutes. After cooling, you can decorate the cookies as desired. The specified amount is enough for one baking tray; if you calculate the ingredients so that one package of candied lemon peel is used up, you’ll get 4 baking trays. Note: Since I love Ralf Zuckowski’s children’s and Christmas carol so much, I really wanted to experiment with the ingredients, and this is the recipe that came up. Because only honey is used, the cookies aren’t as super sweet and have a distinctive flavor.
