Ingredients

  • 250 g Butter
  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 50 g Sifted flour
  • 200 g Food starch
  • 1 sachets Vanilla sugar or 2 teaspoons of homemade vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg Whites
  • 50 g Crystal sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water cold

Instructions

  • Stir the butter until foamy.
  • 60 g powdered sugar, flour and cornstarch, mix with the vanilla sugar and quickly knead with the butter and 1-2 tablespoons of cold water. Wrap the dough in foil and put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven: E-stove 200 ° degrees WL: 175 ° degrees gas: level 3
  • Shape the dough into approx. Cherry-sized balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Attention: the dough runs apart a little! So don't put it too tight!
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  • Beat the egg white until stiff and stir in the rest of the powdered sugar. Fill the mixture into a piping bag with a small perforated nozzle (or self-made piping bag with a very small hole)
  • Sprinkle snowflake patterns on the cookies and sprinkle with granulated sugar. The amount makes about 50-60 pieces.
  • Have fun baking and decorating! The preparation time relates to all work, baking time and decorating!
