Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Orange juice
- 1 can Saffron powder
- 200 g Wheat flour type 405
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 100 g Sugar
- 1 Egg yolk size M
- 100 g Butter flakes
- 125 g Nut nougat
- 125 g Powdered sugar
- 1 Egg Whites
- 2 tbsp Chopped pistachios
Instructions
- Heat orange juice and stir in 1/2 can of saffron. Let cool down
- Quickly knead the flour, baking powder, sugar, egg yolk, flakes of butter and orange-saffron juice into a dough. Wrapped in foil, place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough thinly on a milled work surface and cut out with a round cutter (approx. 5 cm). Poke holes out of half of the circles with a small knife (approx. 2 cm).
