Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Baking time: in a preheated oven (180°C) for approximately 25 minutes! Grease the cavity of the muffin tin with softened butter. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan/convection oven). Cut the butter and marzipan into small pieces, place in a bowl, and mix well using the whisk attachment of a mixer. Gradually stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Crack the eggs one at a time into a cup and drop them into the bowl with the marzipan mixture, then stir in. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix the almonds and desiccated coconut into the flour. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix. Finally, stir the cream into the batter. Pour the batter evenly into the muffin tins and place the tray on the middle rack of the oven. Bake the muffins for approximately 25 minutes; don’t forget to test them for doneness! Remove the muffins from the oven, let them rest for 5-10 minutes, then remove them from the tin and let them cool. Meanwhile, roll out the marzipan with a little powdered sugar and cut out stars. Melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath and spread it over the muffins. Place the marzipan stars on the muffins and sprinkle with desiccated coconut.
