Ingredients
For approx. 50 pieces:
- 100 g Raisins
- 2 tbsp Orange juice
- 125 g Butter
- 125 g Sugar
- 2 Eggs size M
- 250 g Wheat flour type 405 or 550
- 1 pinch Ground clove powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Peel of 1 organic orange
- Icing sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160 ° C (convection / hot air). Line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the raisins with orange juice and let steep for at least 20 minutes.
- Beat the butter, sugar and eggs until a creamy mass. Stir the flour, baking powder, clove powder and orange peel into the mixture. Finally fold in the raisins
- Use two teaspoons to put small heaps on the prepared baking sheets. Leave enough space between them, the dough will still spread a little.
- Put the raisin rolls in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. The cookies should stay light yellow.
- Place on a wire rack, let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
- Store in tin cans.
