Ingredients
 

For approx. 50 pieces:

  • 100 g Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice
  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs size M
  • 250 g Wheat flour type 405 or 550
  • 1 pinch Ground clove powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • Peel of 1 organic orange
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 160 ° C (convection / hot air). Line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle the raisins with orange juice and let steep for at least 20 minutes.
  • Beat the butter, sugar and eggs until a creamy mass. Stir the flour, baking powder, clove powder and orange peel into the mixture. Finally fold in the raisins
  • Use two teaspoons to put small heaps on the prepared baking sheets. Leave enough space between them, the dough will still spread a little.
  • Put the raisin rolls in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes. The cookies should stay light yellow.
  • Place on a wire rack, let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
  • Store in tin cans.
