Ingredients for 7 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 250 ml whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 20 minutes

Wonderfully delicious cinnamon parfait, quick and easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion!

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar for about 10 minutes until you get a creamy, light, and fluffy mixture. Now stir in the cinnamon. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form and add it to the egg yolk, sugar, and cinnamon mixture, mixing well. Pour the finished mixture into a cake tin (or other dish) and place it in the freezer for at least 6 hours. Remove from the freezer about half an hour before serving and place it in the refrigerator. Tip: I like to serve the finished cinnamon parfait with plums. I remove the plums, including the liquid, from the jar and heat them in a saucepan with a little sugar until the liquid thickens slightly.
