Cinnamon parade with just a few ingredients
You don’t need many ingredients for a simple cinnamon parfait. The quantities are enough for six people.
- For the basic recipe, you need 375 ml of cream, a pinch of salt, three egg yolks, 150 g of sugar, and a teaspoon and a half of cinnamon.
- The parfait is frozen in a loaf pan. You will need some cling film to remove later.
- You can refine the basic recipe with additional ingredients according to your taste. For example, you can add orange liqueur or apricot jam.
The recipe for cinnamon parfait
While easy to prepare, freezing the parfait will take time. So you should take that into account.
- First, whip the cream with a pinch of salt until stiff and chill in the fridge.
- Next, mix the egg yolks and sugar into a cream. The easiest way to do this is with a hand mixer.
- Now stir the cinnamon into the mixture and carefully fold in the whipped cream.
- Line the loaf tin with cling film. Then fill in the parfait mixture.
- Additionally, cover the parfait with cling film and place it in the freezer for four to six hours.
- After this time you can take the parfait out of the mold with the cling film and remove the foil. Cut the icy dessert into pieces and serve them to your guests.
