Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 500 g sausage, Lyoner
- 350 g cheese (Emmental / Lindenberg)
- 2 onions
- 6 tomatoes
- 6 eggs, hard-boiled
- 5 large cucumbers (pickles)
- 1 tbsp herbs (salad herbs), dried – flat tbsp
- salt and pepper
- Vinegar
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Cut the Lyoner and cheese into thin strips. Slice the onions into thin half rings, and the eggs, tomatoes, and pickles into thin strips. Season with the dried herbs, salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil. Mix everything together and let it marinate for a while. Tip: I use about 250g Emmental and about 100g Lindenberger. Cut the ingredients into thin strips. Serve as a main course with fries, boiled potatoes, a roll, or bread. This salad is a hit with my family, relatives, and colleagues.
