A stove with a ceramic hob has many advantages: it is easy to use and conducts the heat well. It also looks good – until something overflows. Burnt-in food remains are difficult to remove from the sensitive surface. What now?

1. Baking powder: home remedy for a clean ceramic hob

Burnt-in, stubborn dirt can be scraped off with a ceramic hob scraper. Use only light pressure and keep the scraper as flat as possible to avoid scratches. Important: Always use a special ceramic hob scraper and no knives or metal sponges. The latter can scratch the delicate surface of the cooker.
