How to polish your ceramic hob
Basically, you can’t really remove scratches. However, you can change the texture by polishing. So scratches are less noticeable.
- Be sure to only use agents that are specifically designed for glass-ceramic surfaces.
- You can also use standard toothpaste for polishing.
- Never use aggressive agents such as car polish, oven cleaner, or scouring milk.
- Put the compound of your choice on a rag and buff the scratches in a circular motion.
- Then clean the ceramic hob.
- You have to repeat the polishing at regular intervals.
- This way, over time, you will round off the edges of the scratches and the damage will be less noticeable.
