  • 200 g desiccated coconut
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • 50 ml sweet cream
  • 50 g almond(s), chopped

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g chocolate coating, whole milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

makes about 35 pieces

Place the coconut flakes, powdered sugar, sour cream, sweet cream, eggs, and chopped almonds in a mixing bowl. Crumble the marzipan mixture into small pieces and add it to the bowl. Beat with a mixer until the mixture forms a slightly mushy mixture. Preheat the oven to 140 degrees Celsius (285 degrees Fahrenheit). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use your hands to form pointed mountains from the mixture (makes about 35) and place them on the parchment paper. Bake at 140 degrees Celsius (bottom rack) for about 35 to 40 minutes, until the tops are lightly browned. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath. Dip the mountains into the chocolate coating, twisting the tip so that the peaks are covered in chocolate. Let cool.
