Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 100 g honey
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g desiccated coconut
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 400 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Waffles with a difference, not just for summer

Beat the egg yolks with butter and honey until frothy. Add the vanilla sugar and lemon juice. Combine the flour with the baking powder and desiccated coconut and stir in alternately with the milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Bake in a waffle iron, serving in ladlefuls.
