Cod with chorizo

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 cod fillets (150 g each)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100g chorizo
  • 1 stalk parsley, flat
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the onion and slice into half-moons. Peel the chorizo ​​and dice. Fry both in a small pan with oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Then remove from the heat. Season the fish with salt and pepper. Melt the butter in another pan and gently fry the fish over medium heat for about 2-4 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of the fish), being careful not to burn the butter. Baste the fish with the cooked butter frequently. Chop the parsley and stir it into the slightly cooled chorizo ​​and onion mixture. Place the fish on plates and serve with the chorizo. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas.
