My husband’s favorite salad, we always open our barbecue season with it

Cook the pasta according to the basic recipe. Rinse in cold water and drain. Cut the bacon into thin strips. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Trim, wash, and dice the bell peppers. Quarter the cocktail tomatoes. Fry the bacon in butter, add the onion, garlic, and frozen peas, and sauté for a few minutes. Mix the pasta with the other ingredients. For the marinade: Mix the wine vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper in a shaker and pour over the salad. Mix the marinade thoroughly. Let the salad marinate for at least 1 hour. Wash the chives and scatter them in small curls over the salad as a garnish. Enjoy!
