Colorful Turnip Soup

The perfect colorful turnip soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 30 Pc. Carrots
  • 1 Pc. Ginger
  • 1 Pc. Lemon
  • 1 packet Tahini
  • 1 Cup Peeled sesame seeds
  • 1 Pc. Spring onion
  • 1 pinch Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  1. Peel the orange carrots, cut into thick slices and sauté in coconut oil. Add 2 tablespoons of white tahini paste and sauté in a little water for half an hour. Add lemon juice from one lemon and a thumb-sized ginger bulb. Bring to the boil again and puree.
  2. Peel the purple carrots, cut in half crosswise and cut into strips. Grill in the pan, deglaze with soy sauce.
  3. Toast white peeled sesame seeds without fat. Cut the spring onions into fine strips. Season the soup to taste and divide it between the soup plates. Add the fried carrots, sesame seeds, and spring onions.
