Cookies with macadamia nuts

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 75 g macadamia nuts
  • 75 g chocolate
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Makes 6 XXL cookies – or 12 cookies if desired. Roughly chop the nuts and chocolate. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Combine the vanilla sugar with the egg, add the butter and sugar, and beat until fluffy. Combine the two mixtures and form a dough. Form the dough into 6 equal-sized balls and place them well apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Flatten the balls. Press the chocolate chips and nuts into the cookies and flatten them again. Bake in the oven at 160°C (convection oven) for about 15-20 minutes. Once cooled, quarter the cookies.
