Preparing corn on the cob: How to cook it
For cooking, you only need the raw corn on the cob, 250 milliliters of water, 250 milliliters of milk, and some butter.
- First, the corncob must be cleaned and washed.
- Pour the water and milk into the saucepan and add the butter.
- Once the mixture is heated, you can add the corn to the pot and simmer on medium for 15 minutes.
- Before eating, you can season the corn on the cob with salt.
Roast or grill corn on the cob: Here’s how
To roast or grill corn on the cob, you need to do the following:
- First, you need to cook the raw corn on the cob as described in the first chapter.
- Now put butter in a pan and heat it up.
- Now the corn on the cob has to be fried in it. Meanwhile, turn it so that it browns on all sides.
- You can then salt the corn on the cob.
Baking corn on the cob: This is how it works
In addition to being boiled or fried, corn on the cob can also be baked:
- First, you need a large piece of aluminum foil for baking. You have to generously spread butter on this.
- Now take a raw corn cob and wrap it in aluminum foil.
- Then put the corn on the cob in the oven at 200 °C and let it bake for about 20 minutes.
- When the corn is done, you can season it with salt.
