You can use your leftover bread to make delicious bread chips yourself instead of throwing them away. These are a great snack for a relaxing evening watching TV. We have a great recipe ready that really everyone can do.
Homemade Bread Chips: Delicious and healthy snack
- Cut the bread into thin slices and place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- To add some pizzazz to the bread chips, you can season them with a delicious oil and spice mix.
- To do this, mix your favorite spices in about 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Here you can let your taste and your imagination run wild and, for example, season oil with garlic, chili, and paprika.
- Then brush the oil onto the bread slices with a pastry brush and sprinkle some salt over it.
- Put the slices of bread in the oven for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees top and bottom heat.
- The bread chips are ready when they are crispy and golden brown.
- Your chips will stay fresh for a few days in an airtight storage jar.
- Our tip: The bread chips taste particularly good with spicy dips, some sour cream, or simply as a topping on the salad.
