Cooking: Fruity Chicken Breast

The perfect cooking: fruity chicken breast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Chicken breast
  • 2 grosss Red pointed peppers
  • 6 tbsp Apricot and rosemary jam
  • 200 ml Water
  • 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Crushed red pepper
  • Garlic powder
  1. Wash the chicken breast and then cut it into bite-sized pieces. Peel the bell pepper, remove the seeds and the membranes and cut into small pieces.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and lightly fry the chicken pieces.
  3. Add the pepper pieces, apricot jam and spices. Bring to the boil and keep stirring until the liquid is very much reduced (almost gone).
  4. Now add water and simmer gently with the lid on for about 30-45 minutes over a very low heat.
  5. Then stir in the creme fraiche and simmer for a while until the sauce has become a little thicker.
  6. We had rice with it.
  7. APRICOT JAM with rosemary from tuscanine … Apricot and rosemary jam … (prepared with less sugar, see my comment under the recipe)
