Cooking: Fruity Chicken Breast
The perfect cooking: fruity chicken breast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Chicken breast
- 2 grosss Red pointed peppers
- 6 tbsp Apricot and rosemary jam
- 200 ml Water
- 3 tbsp Creme fraiche Cheese
- Oil
- Salt
- Crushed red pepper
- Garlic powder
- Wash the chicken breast and then cut it into bite-sized pieces. Peel the bell pepper, remove the seeds and the membranes and cut into small pieces.
- Heat the oil in a pan and lightly fry the chicken pieces.
- Add the pepper pieces, apricot jam and spices. Bring to the boil and keep stirring until the liquid is very much reduced (almost gone).
- Now add water and simmer gently with the lid on for about 30-45 minutes over a very low heat.
- Then stir in the creme fraiche and simmer for a while until the sauce has become a little thicker.
- We had rice with it.
