Cordon Bleu from Turkey
The perfect cordon bleu from turkey recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Discs Turkey schnitzel
- 1 big Egg
- 150 g Spelled flour
- 200 g Homemade pretzel crumbs
- 2 Discs Cooked ham
- 2 Discs Cheese (any)
- 1 bag French fries
- 1 half a teaspoon Sweet paprika
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Salt and pepper
- 0,5 liter Rapeseed oil
- 1 full tablespoon Ice cold butter
- Wash and beat the turkey schnitzel.
- Fill three bowls with the breadcrumbs, beat one egg and one bowl with spelled flour.
- Season the egg with paprika, salt and pepper.
- Then top the turkey schnitzel with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Fold it up and secure it with a toothpick or roulade needles.
- Then turn the schnitzel first in flour, egg and then in breadcrumbs.
- Heat a pan with oil, I used rapeseed oil. Add the schnitzel or cordon bleu to the hot fat, add the butter and fry until golden brown.
- We had ready-made French fries from the oven, because it should be quick. But what we like best is a delicious potato salad.
