Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 ml milk
- 1 egg(s)
- 150 g corn from the can, drained
- 50 g grated cheese, e.g. medium-aged Gouda
- 100 g wheat flour type 405
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 50 ml oil for baking

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the egg with the milk, add all the other ingredients except the oil, and mix to form a batter. Heat about 5 mm of oil in a pan, add the batter one spoonful at a time, and fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain the finished doughnuts on kitchen paper and serve warm. Serve with a light salad.
